The residents of the Landmark Memory Care Neighborhood recently visited the Blue Ridge Airport in Henry County on August 9, 2017. Before we set out on the tour the residents enjoyed a delicious lunch at the restaurant which is located inside the airport. Lora Coleman, Customer Service Manager, then led the residents on a very exciting and detailed tour of the airports facilities. Jacob Moore, Air Care 3 Nurse, spoke with the residents about his job and responsibilities aboard the Air Care Helicopter. We all got to see the helicopter and the many things it can do. Jason Davis, Manager of Blue Ridge Airport, also spoke with the residents and gave them a tour of one of the jets at the airport. Residents were excited to get on the jet and take pictures. We wish to thank the staff at Blue ridge Airport, especially Lora Coleman, for a great day and for putting smiles on our residents’ faces. (By: Daniel Quesenberry) Other bus trips have included lunch in Mount Airy, NC, Mexican food in Eden, NC, and Chinese in Martinsville.
